Cyber Endeavor 2026 brought more than 100 cyber professionals from seven European nations, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia, together with their seven U.S. National Guard state partners at Petar Zrinski Barracks in Zagreb. Over two weeks in June, teams ran threat hunting, incident response, reverse engineering and network defense, with blue teams defending shared networks against live red team activity. The exercise marked the first interconnection of the SimSpace cyber ranges operated by Croatia and Slovenia, letting allied teams train on one federated environment instead of in isolation. As Maryland Air National Guard Warrant Officer 1 Nicholas Custead put it, having everybody in the same room lets them pool ideas and find better solutions.
