The Cyber Cup, hosted on the SimSpace platform, is a unique and engaging cybersecurity competition where teams of Red and Blue players face off in a simulated environment. Each team navigates complex cyber challenges designed to test their defensive and offensive skills. Highlights from the July Cyber Cup:

• Participants: The competition saw participation from 5 customer teams and 7 prospect teams, representing a diverse range of industries within the Fortune 500.
• Positive Feedback: Participants praised the event’s organization and the excitement of the Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges. The engagement and interaction during the competition were highly appreciated.
• Team Spirit: Teams expressed their enthusiasm by displaying certificates and requesting additional features like periodic leaderboard screenshots to help document their progress and successes.

The Cyber Cup is where elite Red and Blue players collide in a thrilling, high-stakes duel. As a Red player, you’ll dive into an intense “King of the Hill” offensive challenge, racking up points by exploiting and dominating on a vulnerable network. On the flip side, Blue players gear up for a fierce defensive battle, honing their detection skills and defending against relentless cyber threats.

Unleash Your Skills

Each competition lasts around four adrenaline-pumping hours, from kick-off to the final wrap-up. You’ll operate in a complex, isolated cyber range filled with diverse operating systems, applications, and configurations, providing the ultimate playground for your cyber prowess.
