SimSpace Appoints Industry Veteran Peter Lee to Board of Directors

BOSTONFeb. 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — SimSpace, the global leader in cyber readiness and security optimization, today announced the appointment of Peter Lee to its Board of Directors. With deep expertise in scaling technology companies, private equity, and cybersecurity, Peter will be key in guiding SimSpace’s strategic growth and innovation.

Peter brings over a decade of board service experience, helping tech companies achieve successful exits. He is currently Chairman of the Board for ActiveState, an independent Board member of Chattermill, and an investment committee member of AFIG funds. Additionally, he serves as a freelance operating partner with Communitas Capital, Converge VC, Resolve Growth Partners, and other investment firms.

Most recently, Peter served as CEO of RapidMiner, an open-source AI/ML platform recognized as a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader, where he led the company through its successful acquisition by Altair. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President at TIBCO Software, joining through its acquisition of DataSynapse, an infrastructure software company he co-founded. Earlier in his career, Peter worked as an investment banker at JP Morgan and a strategy consultant with Deloitte.

Peter holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA in International Affairs from the University of Pennsylvania, and an AB cum laude in Government from Harvard College. He is an Emeritus Board member of Upwardly Global and serves on the Development Board of Phillips Academy Andover.
