Lou serves as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of SimSpace, the realistic, intelligent cyber range for elite cybersecurity teams, where he supports a team of marketing experts focused on elevating and differentiating SimSpace’s brand within the cyber range market and on efficiently driving Sales-qualified pipeline. This is Lou’s fifth time serving as the CMO for a growth stage B2B company backed by private equity (PE).
Immediately prior to joining SimSpace, Lou experimented with serving as a GTM Partner at True, one of the nation’s largest executive search firms. Prior to that, Lou served as an Operating Partner at Level Equity, a PE firm focused on the lower middle market. Previously, Lou served as CMO for a series of growth stage B2B businesses backed by PE, most of which exited. Earlier in his career, Lou served in global enterprises, where he learned marketing best practices at global scale. Previously, Lou spent the better part of a decade working domestically and internationally as a founding member of both Accenture’s SAP practice and Sapient’s Business Strategy Group. Lou began his career as a teacher.
Lou holds an MA in Literature from Hofstra University and a BA in English and Spanish from The College of the Holy Cross. He lives in Cambridge with his wife and daughter and enjoys reading presidential biographies, traveling, and running around the Charles River, which he has done for more than 20-years.
